• Oviedo finishes with six individual titles, four runners-up, and a third place finish (an avenge of a sole tourney loss with a pin).
• The current starting varsity line-up is a combined 271-25 individual record on the season for a 92 percent win mark. 
• Ray Rowland defeated a 3X State Placer in the Championship Finals. 
• Jay Taylor, with 21 pins, is on a pace to break the team record of pins in a season held by former Oviedo State Champion and USA Wrestling (Fargo) National Champion Kenny Lester (35) after just four weekends of competition in the books.  Close behind in the same venture is Doug Vollaro at 18.
• This week's quickest pin for Oviedo is Erin O'Dell, USA Wrestling All-American (Fargo), in 24 seconds; quickest pin on the season is USA Wrestling All-American (Fargo) Vollaro at 7 seconds. 
• O'Dell picked up career win 100 in this tournament, joining teammates Chase Gordon and Taylor who have recorded their 100th career wins in this current season.
• Next up for the Oviedo Lions is its own-hosted Zac Jarzynka Memorial Ironman Tournament (www.zacjarzynka.org) on 28-29 Dec; a tourney featuring eight participating states, with 15 of the 31 competing teams finishers in the top ten in their respective State Championships in 2009.
