Saturday: Quarterfinals begin at 10:00 AM. Semifinals at 1:00 PM. 7th place matches at the end of the afternoon session. 1st, 3rd, and 5th place matches start at 6:30 PM.

The all-session passes go on sale at the Walsh Jesuit High School athletic office on Wednesday, November 16, for $24.00. All other sessions can accomodate a huge number of fans since we use two gyms.

What the coaches say

"The Ironman is a manageable, well run tournament in which you are tested each round. There is a Saturday morning weigh-in with reasonable hours of wrestling in which you do not spend all day and night in the gym. 80 teams sound good on paper, but when you have to go through the experience of something that big it is a grind and almost a survival of mental toughness. There is no fluff at the Ironman, every kid gets tested We are committed to the Ironman. Best tournament by far we went to last year." Jeff Buxton, head coach at Blair Academy, NJ

"The Ironman is the best tournament I have attended. We will be going to New York and El Paso. We will be back at the Ironman the next year." Archie Randall, head coach at El Reno, OK

"The backside of the Ironman Tournament is tougher than the front side of most tournaments." Tim Ottmann, head coach at Ponderosa, CO

"Being from a small school that has a very long and tradition-rich program, we have found attending the Ironman Tournament to be extremely beneficial. Beneficial in the exposure our kids get in wrestling some of the best wrestlers throughout the nation. The tournament definitely prepares us for our in-state competition. We may end up with several losses on our records but those tough losses are better than wins over inferior opponents. Exposure also in the number of college coaches that also attend the tournament and that has benefited several of our kids." Brian Hills, head coach at Reynolds, PA
